Metal with a Message!

Playing with different bands in the summer of 2004, Jerry Hawkins and Kurt DeCoria knew each other as brothers in law that also played music. Then, in the fall of 2005, through a series of events that would later seem to be divine intervention they found themselves both band-less and in the same city, Pocatello Idaho. Thus AltarEdge was born. What started as a series of jam sessions over the next few years, later turned into a mission to play music that would make an impression on others in a positive way. Both being "Born Again" and recovering from life-long battles with drug addictions, it seemed Christian Rock was the obvious genre. Hoping to bring the message that GOD loves us all, and Rock N Roll doesn't have to be "Devil Music".
