Unique and New Yorker

It wasn't until 9/11 occurred that I really came to acknowledge how mentally strong and completely unified New Yorkers really are.

For example, it's no secret when it comes to sporting events, whether it's the Yankees, Jets, Mets, Giants, or the Rangers, New York sports fans have the reputation of being a bit insane and quite rowdy. But what most people don't realize, is that they are also very passionate.

The city of New York which widely represents a large core of different ethnic communities, is known for their open and freedom of speech image, which let's admit some people from outside the city may not be comfortable with. To freakin bad! Because when it comes to being straight forward and speaking out your mind, this is what you should pretty well expect from your typical New Yorker. You gotta a problem with that? Good, then move on!

In 2001, when the two planes crashed into the World Trade Center, without any hesitation hundreds around the vicinity risked their lives to save the thousands trapped on the inside. The fact of the matter is, if not of the courageous and amazing rescue effort from many "gutsy" New Yorkers, a lot more people would have lost their lives. If that's not a mental strength tester, then I don't know what is, that's for sure!

Having an open mind concept and particularly not giving a crap what the rest of the world thinks, it just enables New Yorkers to be themselves which I think it's awesome!

Straight forwardness may have it's disadvantages, but it also has some incentives as well, where people can who you really are and what you represent, and in essence is what New Yorkers are all about.

There's no freakin doubt Michael Jackson is one of the most dominating figures in the music industry and even if he was one sick puppy,  most who envied the dude did so because Michael Jackson is the most successful music performer in history.....hope the dude rests in peace...

Dig you and you will be cool

There's a ton of musicians out there, and let's face it not everybody is going to be a freakin star.. That's when you need to put it on your mind why are you in the industry in the first place? Because you just dig kicking ass out of your instruments, or perhaps you believe you have a shot to one day walk the carpet of fame.  I got news for you, do your thing, have fun and the rest will take care of itself...
