Calling Glory

Calling Glory is focused on writing Christ centered music that reflects a grateful hearts response to the gospel! We pray that through our music, listeners will be challenged to consider the cross, the sacrifice made there!

This Just In!!! Calling Glory took second place at this years Ascension Scott Competition, location Icthus Festival! Judges consisted of 2 AR representatives from Word Records & 1 from Goatee Records!!!

Okay now a little more about the band…For starters we could easily be described as a worship jam band…we love to flow in the Spirt! Prophesying on our instruments, Singing a new song to the Lord, Tearing down the camp of the enemy…That kinda stuff:) Our musical influences include Rick Pino, Jesus Culture, United, and Passion…we sound like Angles Running, Heaven Breathing, Hearts Changing, & Saints Singing!!!
Our typical set list really depends on the venue. As most of our members are worship leaders on Sunday or on worship teams we can do all Praise & Worship covers if need be. We also can do just our own original songs or my favorite a mix of current praise and worship covers everyone knows with our own original songs thrown in the mix!
Calling Glory is based in East Tennessee:
Dana Potvin - lead vocals/acoustic/piano
Originally from Nebraska, Dana interned with worship leader Darrel Evans before moving to Tennessee and taking the position of worship leader at a local church in Athens. Some of Dana's accomplishments include interning with Darrel Evans and leading worship for the RAMP Cleveland.
Sam Brocato - Drums
Originally from Texas, Sam moved to Cleveland Tn. to attend Lee University and minister with Chosen and the Ramp both of which are Karen Wheaton Ministries.
Jones Beene - Lead Guitar
Originally from Tennessee, Jones attended Lee University and is an active member of his local church worship team.
Drew - Bass
Originally from Tennessee, Drew attends Tennessee Wesleyan College and is an active member of his local church worship team.
