BIOGRAPHY
It all began in the hassling economic hub of Valencia, Venezuela...two kids growing up watching the masters of rock n roll and wanting to do the same ...write songs, sing and play hard driving guitars!

Richie and Rooster Lines left Venezuela with Rock N\' Roll dreams and a couple of songs, “Living for the Moment” and “Piece of my Mind”, the two songs were recorded in a rehearsal room with a friend helping out on the drums, using the band name Double Edge Sword.

In 2001, the boys left Venezuela and moved to Costa Rica with plans of creating a Rock n’ Roll band, once in Costa Rica they would soon meet their drummer Danilo and after going thru a few bassists, Jonathan was chosen to fill the position. At this point they decided a new band name would be appropriate; Double Edge Sword was a thing of the past now and they needed to come up with something that represented them, and their beliefs in a better way. After thinking about it for a while and tossing some names around, Richie suggested the name Saint Legion and the name instantly stuck.

Live shows took place around the same time and after various re-arrangements, the songs began taking shape...At this point the sound of Saint Legion as we know it today was born.

The need to record the first five songs from the band’s repertoire (mostly written by Rööster with Richie’s collaboration) emerged soon after, also some opportunities for TV appearances and more concerts headlined by the band came along.

The creation, mixing and mastering of the Demo/EP “Step into the Unknown” turned out to be a long and expensive process as the band members were also engineering, recording the sessions, and purchasing equipment to record the final tracks.

As far as influences go, the band admires a large number of genres of music and world class bands.
Saint Legion knows that there’s a need in today’s market for a commercial band that possess technical abilities to create and perform real music, move people, and deliver powerful lyrics with drive and attitude.

Saint Legion’s main focus these days is to take it to the next level by recording most of their 20 plus songs, which will be the base for their first studio album.

Saint Legion is a high energy rock band available to play live.
They also seek management and label representation.
