FameCast contests are for entrepreneurial artists. The type of artists who work hard to build their careers, and have the talent to back it up. That’s why our contest results are determined both by the number of votes you earn and a thing we call Buzz Factor. What’s the Buzz Factor? Buzz Factor is to bands what search engine results are to Web pages – a measure of how much your work is being viewed, linked to and talked about online.

The monthly winner on each stage goes on to compete in the seasonal FameCast Finals, battling ALL stage winners from the previous three months. The winner gets $5,000 and the title of FameCast Fenom. Along the way, some top artists may be picked for exclusive industry opportunities like Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival and more.
