How To Embed FameCast Videos & Audio Tracks

Here are instructions for embedding FameCast videos and audio tracks in MySpace, Facebook, or a Standard HTML Web Site.

MySpace

  1. Select a FameCast video/track you'd like to embed.
  2. Click and copy the code you see after the word “Embed" (located directly beneath the video player).
  3. Log into your MySpace page.
  4. Click Edit Profile.
  5. Paste the code in your desired section.  For example, under “About Me.”
  6. Above or below the code, write a message like, “Vote for Me on FameCast by (Date).”  A link to your video/track is automatically included in the embed code.
  7. Click Save All Changes.  When you view your profile, the video or audio track appears in the space where you entered the code.

Facebook

  1. Select a FameCast video or audio track you'd like to embed.
  2. Click the Facebook icon Facebook icon located directly beneath the video player.
  3. Log into your Facebook account. 
  4. Follow the steps to add the FameCast Player (if you have not already done so).
  5. On the FameCast Player page, click Approve Video to embed the selected video/track onto your Facebook profile or paste your FameCast Video Embed Code into the blank field and click Submit.
  6. View the video/track on your profile in the FameCast Player section.  Note:  You can only post one video or track at a time.

Standard HTML Web Site

  1. Select a FameCast video or audio track you'd like to embed.
  2. Click and copy the code you see after the word “Embed" (located directly beneath the video player).
  3. Open your preferred HTML editor.
  4. Paste the code into your web page in your desired location, such as on the home page.
  5. Above or below the code, write a message like, “Vote for Me on FameCast by (Date).”  A link to your video/track is automatically included in the embed code.
  6. Preview your web page to make sure it appears correctly!
