We Do It Weekly

The FameCast weekly online contests give you 52 chances a year to become a winner. Simply upload a video or audio track and you'll be eligible to compete. The more good stuff you upload, the better your chances of rising to the top. 

Not only will you be exposed to thousands of fans, but you could walk away with prizes including festival gigs, industry opportunities, high-end equipment, critiques from industry insiders and more.  And did we mention the exposure?

Here's how it works:

1. Artists create their free profile and upload their videos and audio tracks. 
   **All original work is automatically eligible to compete, but it is very important that you select a genre and sub-genre for each video and audio track that you upload.
2. Members and artists rate the submissions to determine who's "on deck" to compete in the next week's contest.
3. Every Tuesday at midnight, each stage announces 15 new contestants in video and 15 new contestants in audio. 
4. Fans then have one week to cast their votes for their favorites in each category.  Winners are announced the following Tuesday.  
5. Weekly winners go on to compete for even bigger and better prizes!

To get started, head to the stages now to rate media and vote in this week's contests. Contest Stages include:  Hard Rock/Punk, Rock, Pop, Country, Singer-Songwriter, World/Latin, Electronic, Hip Hop, R&B/Soul, Spoken Word and Comedy.

Keep in mind:

• All contest voting begins and ends on Tuesdays at 12am midnight EST.
• You may vote for as many artists as you wish, but you may only cast one vote per artist, per day. 
• Weekly winners are automatically queued up to compete in the following week's contest as "The Returning Champion." The other 14 contestants must sit out a week before being eligible to compete again.
• Every quarter, we'll have a “Battle of the FameCast Best".  This pits all previous winners plus a few “Wild Cards” against each other, with our Industry Experts weighing in on the competition. 
• Oh, and... rating videos is a seriously good way to discover breaking new talents!
