On April 15th, FameCast will launch a BRAND NEW competition format that we've designed based on extensive artist and fan feedback. We're giving you more of what you’ve said you want — exposure and industry opportunities — and asking for less of what you don't have as a busy entertainer — time.
The new contests will run on a weekly basis and will include competitions for both video and audio. We'll also have a slightly different line-up of stages, which will be released very soon.
Here's how the new contests will work:
- Artists create their free BackStage profile and upload their video and audio submissions.
- All FameCast artists & members will be able to rate videos & audio tracks. These ratings along with other merit-based criteria will determine who’s “on deck” to compete in the next week's contest.
- Every Tuesday, each stage announces 15 new contestants in video and 15 new contestants in audio.
- Fans then have one week to cast their votes for their favorites in each category. Winners are announced the following Tuesday.
- Weekly winners go on to compete for even bigger and better prizes!
All artists, including former Fenoms & Critics’ Picks, will be automatically eligible to compete under the new format. If you are a new artist on FameCast, sign up here and start loading those audio and video tracks now!
