BIOGRAPHY

Dominican/American singer/songwriter LIZ MENEZES began her musical career at the tender age of 10, when she began playing classical piano and singing in her church. At this age, she began writing poetry which later she would convert to songs and along the way she would give them life thru melody. She did not stop there she continued going on auditions for vocal groups, as a backup vocalist, as a soloist you name it and along the way, not only did she land singing gigs but she was introduced to the modeling world as well. To gain studio experience, she began doing backup vocals for freestyle artists such LilSuzy, Cynthia, Coro, George Lammond, Fascination and TKA to name a few. “Wasn’t Love” written for Fascination by LIZ MENEZES appears on the Freestlye Lives album. In her lyrics and music you will find not your typical love story but a storybook, lyrics that truly reach home. She is currently working on her first solo album, and while not limiting herself to musical opportunities she has recorded American standards in Bossa Nova in Rio de Janeiro. Included in these projects, which were released in Japan and Europe are such names as Bossa Nova great Roberto Menescal, partner of Albatroz Music Raymundo Bittencourt, rising/upcoming Brazilian guitarist Eli Menezes who has already played with such greats as Gospel singer Fred Hammond, Lauryn Hill and Richard Bona to name a few. In 2007 two of her renditions of such Beatles classics as “For No One” and “Nowhere Man” included in the compilation BEATLES IN BOSSA released in Japan went 1 in I-tunes Japan. She now is proud to be a FAMECAST FENOM, winning in the Latin category for season 4 2008. LIZ MENEZES is now giving a new face to the Latin music scene with a growing fan base looking for a new sound. Her first solo venture is sure to be a listen to and hit producing album!!!!

Cantautora de descendiencia Dominicana LIZ MENEZES comenso su carrera musical a la tierna edad de dies anos, cuando ella comenso a tocar piano classico y a cantrar en su iglesia. A esta edad ella comenso a escribir poemas que mas tarde ella convertiria en canciones y con tiempo darle vida a traves de melodia. Ella no paro ai ella continuo iendo a audiciones pra groupos vocals, como parte del coro, como solista, y en el camino no solamente consigo presentaciones como cantante pero fue introducida al mundo de modelaje. Para consegir experiencia en el studio ella comenso a graver coro para artistas de Freestyle como Lil Suzy, Cynthia, Coro, George Lammond, Facination y TKA para mencionar unos pocos. “Wasn’t Love” escrita para Fascination por LIZ MENEZES aparece en el album Freestyle Lives. En sus letras y musica no vas a encontrar tu historia de amor typica pero major un livro de historias, letras que verdaderamente llegan cera de tu vida. Ahora presentemente ella esta trabajando en su primer disco pero no limitandoce a opportunidades musicales ella ah gravado Standards Americanos en Bossa Nova en Rio de Janiero. Encluido en estos projects que fueron lancados en Japon y Europa estan nombres como: El grande de Bossa Nova Roberto Menescal, sosio de Albatroz Music Raymundo Bittencourt, Eli Menezes guitarist Brazilero que esta subiendo en su genro y a tocado con artistas como cantante de gospel Fred Hammond, Lauryn Hill y Richard Bona para mencionar unos pocos. En el 2007 dos entrepreaciones, “ For No One” y “Nowhere Man” de los Beatles cantada por LIZ MENEZES incluidadas en la compelacion BEATLES EN BOSSA lancados en Japon llegron a ser numbero uno en I-tunes Japon. Ella ahora esta orgujosa de ser FAMECAST FENOM en la categora LATINA para la quarta temporada del 2008. LIZ MENEZES ahora le esta dando un nueva cara y nombre a la musica Latina con una fanticada que sigue querciendo y que esta en busqueda de un nuevo sonido. Su primer disco seguro sera lleno de canciones numero 1's.
